    Overview

    ScreenRes.tools is a client-side web application. All screen detection, diagnostic tests, and calculations run entirely within your browser. We do not operate a backend server that processes user data.

    Data We Collect

    None. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, screen data, test results, or usage analytics. There are no accounts, no cookies for tracking, and no third-party analytics scripts.

    Local storage & session storage

    Some tools may use your browser's local storage to remember preferences. For tests that use fullscreen colors or flashing patterns, we may use session storage only to remember that you acknowledged a photosensitivity warning in the current browser tab. None of this is transmitted to our servers.

    Flashing content & health

    Certain tools (for example the dead pixel and color tests) can show bright colors, sharp contrast, or changing patterns. We show an on-screen warning before you use those tools. If you are sensitive to flashing lights or have photosensitive epilepsy, do not use those features.

    Third-Party Services

    We load fonts from Google Fonts, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No other third-party services are used.

    Cookies

    ScreenRes.tools does not set any cookies. If cookies appear in your browser for this domain, they originate from the hosting provider's infrastructure, not from our application code.

    Children's Privacy

    Our tools are general-purpose utilities suitable for all ages. Since we collect no data, there are no special concerns regarding children's privacy.

    Changes to This Policy

    If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Since the tool collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
